Logitech G5 Review
The Logitech G5 Laser Mouse is one of the more popular choices for those that love to play games online. It is completely customizable due to the adjustable weight cartridge with a total of 36-grams. The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) gaming feet will also give you that perfectly smooth glide that every gamer is looking for. It also features a 2000 dpi laser engine which makes it a very high quality USB mouse.
The Logitech G5 Laser Mouse also features the Logitech setpoint software that will allow you to customize your mouse settings. You can use features like game detection and in-game adjustable sensitivity, including the independent x and y axis settings. When you are a gamer you know that the quality of your mouse matters and you need to have a mouse that is going to give you exactly what you are after. You don’t have to worry about this mouse sticking in the middle of your game or giving you any trouble.
Speaking from my own experience this mouse has increased my gaming performance quite a bit. I have been able to play better simply because the old mouse I was using was not nearly as smooth and I was not able to adjust the weight as much as I can with the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse.
Here are some great features of the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse:
* User selectable tracking resolution: 2000/800/400 dpi
* USB Data Format: 16 bits/axis
* USB Report Rate: 1000 reports/second
* Adjustable weight cartridge
* Max. Speed: 45-65 inches/second
* Max. Acceleration: 20G
If you want to have the chance to game like I do, then the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse is the only way for you to go. Simply put, this mouse has made me into the type of guy that cannot stop gaming. I am addicted to how much better I can play due to the speed and the customization of this mouse. The gaming world is so different when you have the right equipment.
Here’s what one of the owners had to say about the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse:
> “Over the years I’ve gone through Logitech’s MX500, MX510 (red and blue), MX518, MX700, G5 (gen 1 and 2), and G7. They’re all the same shape (which I absolutely love), and they were all great mice.
> This mouse, the 2nd gen G5, is my favorite. I have one of these at each of my home computers, and one at work too. The update over the original G5 is the return of the 2nd thumb button and a new paint job (the black/blue crinkle pattern). In my opinion, this one is perfect in every way. I like it heavy, so I’ve got 27g loaded up in the weight cartridge (the upper 6 of 8 slots filled), but if you like it light you can take those out.” – (JawaSpot)
